I'm back! I know I've been MIA for more than months now but it was honestly good days of living my life. It was days of being occupied with works and commitments. Part of it was a homing coming in Bicol mainly for an event that inspires Bicolano youth which will soon to be posted in the coming days.
Another news, Anthosia Cafe, the cafe I blogged about last year here, has moved to a much bigger home! It is one of my favorite places to hang out with friends whenever I am in Naga for the reason that I love the feeling of nostalgia every time I am surrounded with old things. My friends know how much I love the cafe so we ended up hanging out the entire afternoon in the new location which is twice bigger than the former.
The interior was yet again instagram-friendly while the food was so artsy and definitely enjoyable. We had Tinapanudels, it's a white pasta with flakes of smoked fish, olive oil, tomato, basil and other stuff and Pan de Oriang, it's an heart-shaped pizza with white and red sauce. Of course, I had my favorite Cold Elsa Coffee while Ruvi, one of my closest friends had Dekada 90, a raspberry drink with a kick on the flavor.
As always, the place was overflowing with old things that are really close to my heart like old bottles, jars, old cameras, old chairs, vinyl records, recycled signage and a lot of overwhelming stuff that you wouldn't imagine to find inside a regular cafe.
Ruvi and I had the pleasure to spend the entire gloomy afternoon with our glasses of drinks and a platter of flavored fries. We savored our precious time eating and talking some adult things while enjoying the music of Bicolano originals playing on the background.
Anthosia Cafe is now located at Taal Avenue Corner Bulusan St. Naga City.
